Philipp Schweiger's painting is able to create mood. His works reveal subtle perceptions, captured experiences and vivid memories. What is depicted is deliberately blurred, giving the viewer space to fill the indeterminate with his or her own interpretation. His imposing depictions of cloud formations and foliage, some of which are new, transport us into a state between dreamy transfiguration and clear objectivity, a field of tension of emotions.
