My work focuses on physical and psychological states in a fragile balance, that threaten to tip over, to become imbalanced. My installations and sculptures are based on minimal, precise arrangements and integrate found objects and recycled materials.

The sculptures on exhibit at O&O Depot chose their own particular placement. I didn’t tie them to a space as usual, I didn’t build a stage for them, instead leave the pieces of art to be alone with themselves. – S.M.
