URBAN PILOT PROJECT ROTHNEUSIEDL VIENNA — A lively urban district is being brought to life on 124 hectares in Rothneusiedl. The goal is to create a pioneering climate protection district that acts as a beacon for adapting to climate change and has numerous greenspaces and outdoor areas—all while providing affordable housing. In addition to living and working, the needs of various social, cultural, and athletic uses are also being included. The rural character of the surroundings will be integrated and reinterpreted in the new city district.
