HAINSPITZE LEIPZIG 2016 — The Hainspitze location in the old town city centre is characterised by an array of buildings constructed around 1900 with outstanding structural and craftsmanship quality. By dividing the property into two sections, the design creates reference on the one hand to the scale of the surrounding urban fabric of residential and commercial buildings, and on the other hand to the classic large-scale department store type that characterises the city centre as a whole.
