FOOD COURT VIENNA 2018 — Situated alongside the tallest building in Vienna, Dominique Perrault’s jagged black tower, the comparably tiny food court can only be the opposite: soft and rounded. It appears from above as a supple element that mediates between the built ruggedness of the surroundings. The building acts as a meeting point and work cafeteria for the employees of the surrounding new city neighbourhood.
