Galerie Unter Strom Potsdam GALERIE UNTER STROM POTSDAM 2012 — Photovoltaic Pavilion FH Potsdam. The pavilion is a prototype for the integration of photovoltaic technology in space-defining architectural elements. Solar wall panels measuring four metres high and one metre wide create a façade that wraps around the 35-metre-long building. Each panel is held by a supporting steel frame. The photovoltaic elements are arranged on the outside of a continuous pane of glass. Copper switch strips can be seen from the inside, behind the glass, acting as a delicate wall cladding.
