KÖNIGLICHE PORZELLANMANUFAKTUR BERLIN 2004 — With its 60-m high tower this office and hotel building marks the eastern approach to the newly developed KPM district, the centre of which is occupied by the production complex of the old established porcelain manufacturer KPM. A seven-storey building plinth that accommodates the hotel is integrated in the development along Strasse des 17. Juni. The contours of the nearby Ernst-Reuter-Haus are incorporated. The 10-storey office tower placed on top is a both prelude and conclusion to the City-West.
