SPREEWERK BERLIN // Presentation of the plans - 13.05.2025

O&O Baukunst is planning the new SPREEWERK campus in the Spreeküste area of Berlin-Lichtenberg, right near the power plant and the former radio station. The plans for the project have been presented to the public.

The office and services campus, which will be built between the Spree and Köpenicker Chaussee, includes several seven-story buildings and two high-rises that will shape the skyline of the architectural ensemble. The project combines various uses such as offices, hotels, dining, shops, research and development, and urban production. A public promenade connects the buildings, and a spacious park landscape creates a connection to the Spree area.

The Campus SPREEWERK is one element of the overarching Berlin SPREEKÜSTE development, a 29.5-hectare area planned between Rummelsburg and Köpenick. The planning basis for the urban development came out of a workshop process using the equally awarded designs for an urban development concept by O&O Architecture / capattistaubach urban landscapes and ENS Eckert Negwer Suselbeek / Freiraumplanung Wolf.
