MK3 AT THE "BAUHAUSPLATZ" MUNICH // 3.PRIZE - 23.04.2015

Located in the central neighborhood square MK3 construction site on the former Funkkaserne in Munich a new district will be built together with the building block MK1 and primary school the public center. It will offer a powerful new construction as cheerful and lively place for a variety of uses. Following the motto of the link the design further developed the U-shaped figure of urban and opens it in three dimensions at different levels. On the ground floor an open lane flanked by shops connects the space between tram stop and the town square is thus spatially extended and reinterpreted.
