GEISBERG BERLIN // DGNB GOLD - 01.01.2023

Pre-certified in 2015 and now quality-stamped: The Geisberg Berlin designed by O&O Baukunst has been given the DGNB GOLD certificate. The assessment takes a close look at three crucial areas of sustainability: ecology, economy, and socio-cultural aspects. In the spirit of a holistic view, technical and procedural qualities were taken into consideration along with the site itself.

Together with COPRO Project Development and FORE GBS Development, O&O Baukunst has converted this listed post and telegraph office in Berlin Schöneberg into a prime residential building. A courtyard structure, two new front buildings, and roof extension were added to the existing building, together creating a new ensemble with that meaningfully contributes to the urban neighbourhood.
